The 28th of August we returned (as so many other days) to sample our bees.
It is a difficult time of the year, because summer drought and high temperatures take away many sources of food to these animals.
However, we were lucky to see some (though very few!) specimens.

In a few weeks we will have to make the final balance of the project, so it is impossible not to ask ourselves if our vegetation modules affect the bees in a positive way. What is clear is that in a landscape where all the vegetation is dry (even outside the quarry, we only have some oak coloring in green the field), our modules go on, allowing and facilitating the life of these animals.

We will continue helping to understand that the ecological restoration of quarries is possible !!
